Keith Weiss, Mortgage Loan Originator

I’ve spent the past ten years building my career in banking, developing a deep understanding of customer service, lending, and community-focused financial support. I began my journey at NBT Bank in Vermont, where I worked for five years as a Teller and Customer Service Representative. In December 2020, I joined Horizon Bank, first as a Customer Service Representative and later transitioning into the Universal Banker model. Today, with six years of lending experience, I’m proud to serve as a Mortgage Loan Originator, helping clients navigate one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.

Community involvement has always been a core part of who I am. I’m a Big Brother in the Big Brother Big Sister Program and have been part of their school lunch initiative since the start of this school year. For the past four years, I’ve also been active with the Young Professionals of DeKalb County, serving as President in 2023. I currently serve on the DeKalb County Chamber Partnership Board of Directors, and beginning in January, I’ll represent Auburn on the DeKalb County Visitor Bureau Board of Directors.

Outside of work, I stay involved in my church, Cultivate Church in LaOtto. Helping lead their basketball program and serving on the sound team every other week for the past four years. Before moving to Indiana, I chaired the Charitable Giving Committee for NBT Bank in Vermont, continuing my commitment to giving back wherever I live and work.
