With a signed wire transfer agreement, you can send wire transfers through online banking. Contact a Treasury Management advisor at 855-616-6466 to sign up today.

International Payments

Horizon Bank partners with Western Union Business Solutions (WUBS) to offer fast and secure international wire transfer services for businesses that need to make either U.S. Dollar or Foreign Currency payments to their overseas trading partners. If a transfer is made to you in foreign currency, WUBS will convert it to US Dollars before forwarding it to Horizon Bank to post to your account.

Domestic Wire Transfer

When you need to send or receive money quickly, a wire transfer might be the right tool for the job. Wire transfers are fast, reliable, and secure.

Important Domestic Wire Transfer information

At the minimum, the following information is required to send a Domestic Wire Transfer:
• Amount you want to send
• Full name of the recipient (person or business)
• Recipients ZIP Code
• Recipient’s bank transit routing number
• Recipient’s bank account number

Outgoing wire transfer requests received Monday through Friday by 4 pm CT are generally processed the same day. Our domestic and international wire offices are closed on weekends and federal holidays.

Your wire may be delayed or returned if you fail to provide accurate information. You may also be charged fees.

 

Receiving wires.

To receive an incoming international wire, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click here to open and complete the International Wire Service form.
  2. Choose the country/currency you are receiving funds from.
  3. Complete the relevant information in the online form and submit it.
  4. You will then be presented with the payment instructions. Forward these payment instructions to the “Payor” or “Sender”.

Ask the sender to:

  1. Present these instructions to their bank when sending the payment to you.
  2. Instruct the bank to include the Payment Notes section on the bank’s reference field as specified in the payment instructions.
  3. Current wire fees apply. Ask an advisor for details.
