Horizon Bank Announces Marcus Swift as AVP, Commercial Loan Officer

Michigan City, Indiana – Robert Avery, Regional President – Central Indiana, is pleased to announce the promotion of Marcus Swift to AVP, Commercial Loan Officer.

Swift has been promoted in recognition of his strong performance and continued professional growth. After earning his degree in finance from Indiana University, Swift joined Horizon Bank in 2021 as a credit analyst. His strong foundation in credit analysis quickly led to his promotion to portfolio manager in 2023, followed by a transition into a commercial lending role.

“Marcus has shown tremendous initiative early in his career, combining technical expertise with a strong drive to build lasting client relationships,” said Avery. “His promotion reflects both his individual accomplishments and the positive impact he continues to make within our Southern Region team.”

Swift has focused on expanding his involvement in community engagement and commercial prospecting, successfully building new client relationships and contributing to the growth of the Southern Region.
