Horizon Bank Announces Promotion of Dan Becksvoort as Market President and Retirement of Mark Johnson

Michigan City, Indiana – David Quade, Horizon’s Regional President, Michigan and North Central Indiana, is pleased to announce that Dan Becksvoort has been named successor to Mark Johnson as Market President of Holland and Ottawa County.

Becksvoort, Senior Commercial Loan Officer, will assume the role effective March 1. Since joining Horizon in 2021, Becksvoort has been an integral member of the team, building strong relationships throughout the local business community and demonstrating a deep commitment to serving clients across the market. Prior to Horizon, he built extensive experience in commercial lending and also served as an investor and financial officer for several businesses.

Mark Johnson joined Horizon in 2020 after many years as a commercial banker in West Michigan. His experience, relationships, and market knowledge have been invaluable as Horizon expanded and strengthened its presence in this growing market.
