Horizon Bank Awards $4,000 Grant to the Salvation Army of Michigan City
Michigan City, Indiana – Horizon Bank is proud to support The Salvation Army of Michigan City with a $4,000 sponsorship toward its annual Red Kettle Kickoff.
Funds raised through the Red Kettle Campaign help brighten the holidays by providing Christmas toys and food baskets for local families in need. In addition, the campaign supports The Salvation Army’s year-round programs, including food pantries, diaper and hygiene product distribution, youth summer camp, weekend backpack feeding programs, spiritual care, and case management services.
Horizon Advisors will also be volunteering their time to help spread holiday cheer and raise additional funds for the campaign. Advisors will be ringing bells on Friday, December 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Al’s Supermarkets on Franklin Street and Karwick Road in Michigan City, as well as the Al’s location in La Porte.
