Horizon Bank Donates $2,500 to Housing Resources Inc. in Honor of Kalamazoo Branch Opening
Michigan City, IN — As part of the grand open celebration for its new Kalamazoo branch, Horizon Bank has donated $2,500 to Housing Resources Inc. (HRI), a local nonprofit that provides critical housing services for individuals and families in crisis. The donation reflects Horizon’s mission to support organizations that make a lasting difference in the lives of community members, especially those facing economic hardship or housing insecurity.
“At Horizon, we believe strong communities start with safe, stable housing,” said John Crandle, Market President of Kalamazoo and South Michigan. “Partnering with Housing Resources Inc. allows us to support that mission right here in Kalamazoo. We’re grateful for the important work they do and proud to stand beside them as neighbors.”
The gift was presented during a ribbon-cutting event at the branch, where Horizon welcomed neighbors and local leaders to tour the updated space and celebrate a new chapter of community partnership in Kalamazoo.
