Horizon Bank is Recognized at U.S. Small Business Administration Michigan District Lender Awards
Michigan City, IN – Horizon Bank was honored at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Michigan District Lender Awards, held during the annual awards ceremony in Troy, Michigan. Horizon was named one of Michigan’s Top Ten 7(a) Lenders of the Year, a finalist for Rural Lender of the Year, and the winner of Community Lender of the Year.
The Community Lender of the Year award recognizes Horizon for its outstanding performance as a locally owned bank with less than $10 billion in total assets. This award is based on the bank’s strong loan volume, reflecting its dedication to supporting small businesses in Michigan.
As a Rural Lender of the Year finalist, Horizon Bank was recognized for its contributions to small businesses in Michigan’s rural areas, based on the number of 7(a) and 504 loans granted, with special consideration given to year-over-year loan volume increases.
