Horizon Bank Promotes Don VanLandegent to Senior Vice President, Commercial Credit Officer
Lynn Kerber, Chief Commercial Banking Officer, Commercial Lending at Horizon Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Don VanLandegent to Senior Vice President, Commercial Credit Officer.
Having dedicated thirteen years to Horizon Bank, VanLandegent previously held the role of Vice President-Senior Commercial Credit Officer since April 2022. In this capacity, he demonstrated exceptional leadership by overseeing departments integral to the success of the Commercial Banking Division, including Appraisal & Environmental Services, Small Business Underwriting, Government Lending programs, and the Commercial Credit Department.
Throughout his tenure, he has effectively managed various projects, such as construction lending guidelines, implementation of new construction lending software, credit risk policy, and loan stress testing and has also played a pivotal role in elevating the Commercial Lending Division through continuous improvement initiatives.
His leadership style, coupled with his collaborative approach, has fostered positive working relationships and contributed significantly to the success of the Commercial Banking Division. This promotion underscores Horizon Bank's commitment to recognizing
