Horizon Bank Welcomes John Freyek as New Market President for Lake County
Michigan City, IN – Steve Kring, Horizon Bank’s Regional President – Northwest Indiana, is pleased to announce the recent addition of John Freyek as the new Market President for Lake County. He is located at 8950 Broadway in Merrillville, Indiana.
Freyek brings over twenty-six years of experience in the banking industry to Horizon. He will head the commercial and business banking efforts in Lake County, and is tasked with growing the Horizon brand and market share in the area. Freyek will manage an experienced team of lenders while developing new business.
Freyek received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Purdue University Northwest. He has a history of community involvement in the Lake County area, previously serving on the boards of directors of Mental Health America of Northwest Indiana, the Highland Chamber of Commerce, and Jacob’s Ladder Pediatric Rehab Center. Currently, Freyek serves as Board Chair for Opportunity Enterprises and Board Vice-Chair with the Legacy Foundation.
