Horizon Bank Awards $15,000 Grant to Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana
Horizon Bank is pleased to announce a grant of $15,000 to be donated over the next three years to Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana in Greater Lafayette.
The grant will be used towards JA Finance Park®. The program provides information and resources to engage middle and high school students in exploring and developing personal financial literacy and management skills. Students receive real-life personas and learn about budgeting, use of credit, taxes and much more. This is a hands on experience, guided by adult role models.
Resa Hodnett, Capstone Manager of Junior Achievement said of the grant, “Support by local businesses ensures we can continue to offer free programing to students in our area. Horizon Bank places the same value on financial literacy and volunteerism as Junior Achievement. What an exciting partnership!”
