Horizon Bank Welcomes Melissa Diaz-Rosario as Bilingual Branch Manager

Michigan City – Chasidy Garner, Horizon Bank’s Assistant Vice President, District Retail Manager, is pleased to announce Melissa Diaz-Rosario as Bilingual Branch Manager of our Whiting, Indiana office located at 1321 119th St., where she is fluent in Spanish.  Diaz-Rosario will oversee the daily retail operations along with managing sales and service of the branch. 

Diaz-Rosario has previous experience as a credit union branch manager, is a former Small Business owner and Hispanic (Midwest) Grocery Consultant.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business & Minor in Human Resources from Calumet College of St. Joseph. 

Diaz-Rosario is involved with The People’s Turkey Drive (Lake County); Sojourner Truth House (Gary, IN) and Save the Girls (Chesterton, IN).
