Horizon Bank Awards $10,000 Grant to Outdoor Discovery Network
Horizon Bank is pleased to announce the recent grant awarded to ODC Network in Holland, Michigan.
A check in the amount of $10,000 was presented on February 2, 2022 by Mark Johnson, Market President of Holland to Travis Williams, CEO.
The grant money will be used to help construct a third preschool, called Dragonflies Discovery Preschool, and will serve an additional 194 children and help meet childcare needs in Ottawa County. ODC Network’s own records include a waiting list
of 150 families desiring its preschool programming.
“Thank you for this wonderful start to our week! We are grateful for the investment in our mission. We are thrilled to be able to work with Horizon Bank,” stated Travis Williams.
Johnson said of the grant, “Horizon Bank’s grant for the Dragon Fly preschool is one of the ways we are involved in the Holland community. By meeting this goal of the Bank we are also able to further ODC's goal of advancing outdoor education
& conservation in West Michigan.”
