Michigan City, IN — Kristen Lovell, Horizon Bank’s Vice President, Sr. Agricultural Loan Officer, is pleased to announce the promotion of David Gurtner as Vice President, Agricultural Loan Officer. He is located at 625
S. Wayne St., Waterloo, Indiana.
Gurtner has over 14 years’ experience in Ag Lending and has 27 years of previous experience as an Agricultural Science teacher at DeKalb High School.
Gurtner earned his Masters of Science degree in Education with an Agricultural emphasis, and his Bachelors of Science degree in Education, both from Purdue University. He has an Honorary Hoosier Farmer Degree from the Indiana FFA Association and
was named Outstanding Indiana Young Farmer Advisor from the Indiana Young Farmer Association.
Gurtner is involved with his church, Purdue Extension and FFA.
