Horizon Bank Announces Tedd Schaffer as New Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer
Michigan City, IN — Bruce Piekarski, Horizon Bank’s Vice President, Group Commercial Lending Manager, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Tedd Schaffer as a new Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer located at 17400 State
Road 23, South Bend. He is responsible for developing new business in the market, and structuring and closing commercial loans to build a commercial portfolio.
Schaffer has nearly 20 years of prior financial experience, most recently as vice president Commercial Loan Officer for another bank. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University. He was the Business Development Corporation SBA Lender
of the year in 2018 and has worked with Habitat for Humanity and the Business Development Corporation and other non-profits in the area.
