At Horizon Bank, we take your security seriously. One of the ways we help protect your debit card is through our EnFact fraud detection program. This service sends real-time text alerts to your mobile phone, allowing you to quickly confirm or deny suspicious transactions. With this added layer of security, you can feel confident knowing we’re actively monitoring your account.
How does it work?
As a Horizon debit cardholder, you are automatically enrolled in EnFact and no action is required on your part. If a transaction on your account appears unusual, you will receive a text message with details of the suspected charge. Simply reply YES to confirm the transaction or NO to report it as unauthorized.
If you indicate the charge is fraudulent, you’ll receive a follow-up message with additional instructions to help resolve the issue quickly.
In the event that you confirm fraud has taken place, your card will be blocked or restricted to prevent additional fraudulent transactions from posting, and Horizon Bank will cancel your card.
