Horizon Bank Supports Financial Literacy with Donation to Attica Junior-Senior High School
Michigan City, Indiana – Horizon Bank is proud to invest in the future of Attica students through a $1,995 donation to Attica Junior-Senior High School. The funds will support their Financial Responsibility Module that is part of the school’s Career Exploration Lab, offered to 6th and 7th grade students.
The Financial Responsibility module provides students with essential, real-world financial knowledge and skills at an early age. Topics covered include money and income, budgeting, goal setting, banking basics, fixed versus variable expenses, risk management, insurance, financial planning, emergency funds, savings and investments, financial portfolios, and the global economy and markets.

Through the Career Exploration Lab, students gain hands-on exposure to career pathways and foundational life skills, preparing them for long-term academic and professional success.
The donation was presented by Horizon’s Attica Branch Manager Lindsay Larson, to Attica Junior-Senior High School Principal Mr. Frye, marking the shared commitment to student success.
