Horizon Bank Awards $18,750 Development Grant to Homestead Resources

Michigan City, IN – Horizon Bank is proud to announce it has awarded $18,750 in grant funds to Homestead Resources through the Elevate Small Business Grant Program (Elevate) from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis. Homestead Resources will use the funding to support its Financial Education and Housing Counseling programs, which are available across the 10 counties it serves. 

The grant includes a $15,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis and a $3,750 matching contribution from Horizon. The investment supports Homestead Resources' ongoing efforts to provide education, guidance, and resources that promote financial stability and sustainable homeownership.

Elevate Small Business Grants are funded by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis and made available through its member financial institutions. Member institutions apply on behalf of eligible small business customers, who may receive up to $20,000 to support business growth, development, and community impact across Indiana and Michigan.
