Fourth Annual Horizon Cares Day Makes an Impact Across Indiana and Michigan

Michigan City, Indiana – Horizon Bank celebrated its fourth annual Horizon Cares Day on Tuesday, September 22, bringing Advisors together for a day dedicated to service, connection and making a difference in the communities they call home. Each year, Horizon closes all its branches for the day, giving Advisors the opportunity to step away from their daily roles and volunteer alongside local organizations throughout Indiana and Michigan.
This year, 775 Advisors volunteered with over 80 nonprofit organizations, contributing thousands of hours of service to causes that directly benefit their communities. From supporting local food pantries and shelters to lending a hand at Habitat for Humanity sites and other community organizations, Advisors spent the day addressing local needs and making a positive impact across Horizon’s footprint, from Charlevoix, Michigan, to Indianapolis, Indiana.
Now in its fourth year, Horizon Cares Day has grown into a special tradition that reflects Horizon’s culture of service and commitment to the communities it serves. By working alongside local organizations and dedicating time to causes that matter, Horizon Advisors continue to build meaningful connections and make a difference that extends well beyond a single day.
