Will my online bill pay information be converted to Horizon?

No. We are unable to convert you to Horizon's Bill Pay system. You will need to re-enroll in Horizon's system on or after December 5th.

How long can I access my online bill pay service with CNB&T?

You will have access to CNB&T's online bill pay system through Friday, December 2nd.  After this date, you will no longer have access and any bills you have scheduled to pay on or after December 2nd will not be paid. You can begin to use the new Horizon Bank bill pay service within online banking on Monday, December 5th.

Will my bills scheduled in CNB&T's online bill pay continue to be paid?

No. Any bills you have scheduled to pay after December 2nd using CNB&T's online bill pay system – including future dated and recurring bills – will not be paid.

Will I still be able to use online banking?

Yes.  Horizon offers online banking. You can begin to use Horizon's online banking on or after December 5th.

Will my loan payments or terms change?

The rates, terms and conditions of your loan will be honored until it is paid in full.

Will the way I make my loan payments change?

You will continue to make your loan payments as you do today.  Come into the branch, pay by coupon book or automatic draft from a checking or savings account - any way you make these payments, please continue to do so.

Debit / ATM card FAQs

Will I have to get a new Debit Card?

Yes. On December 2, 2016 your existing Central National Bank & Trust Bank (CNB&T) Debit card will no longer work. We will issue you a new Horizon bank Debit MasterCard® in mid-November that you will need to activate to replace your existing CNB&T card. You will begin to use this new Horizon Debit card on Friday, December 2nd in place of your old card. 

Your new Horizon Debit card will come with an embedded chip that provides enhanced security when used at chip-enabled readers.

Will my Debit Card have the same access?

Yes. Your new Horizon Bank Debit Card will provide access to the same account(s) as it does now.

Will I have to change my PIN on my Debit Card?

Yes. Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will change. You will receive a new PIN in a separate letter mailed to you for your security. You may change your PIN if you wish after you've activated your card.

Will my automatic payments still work with this new Debit Card?

Since your new card contains an embedded chip for enhanced security, your card number will change.  If you have automatic payments attached to your Debit card you may need to notify the vendor(s) of the change to your card number once you receive your new card. Many national retailers will continue to recognize your new card without any interruption in your payments; however, please take the time to review your automatic payments just to be sure.

Will my account numbers stay the same?

Yes, your account numbers will remain the same.

Will the benefits and fees on my accounts change?

We anticipate the change will be minimal as we will honor your existing accounts and their terms and maintenance fees. If there are any changes, we will notify you in advance.  The fees you pay for other services like stop payments, wire transfers, etc may change and will go into effect on March 1, 2017.

Will I have to order new checks?

No. The checks and deposit slips you currently have are still valid so keep using them. When it is time to reorder new checks simply order online or contact your local branch.

Will I have to change the routing number on my direct deposits?

No. Your direct deposits will continue as is with no action required on your part.

Will my account statements change?

The look of your statements will change; however, you will continue to receive your account statements as usual – most of them on the same date as your existing statement closing date. Your final statement from Central National Bank & Trust, detailing activity through December 2nd, will be mailed to you shortly after that date.

Will interest rates on my deposit accounts, CDs or IRAs change?

Interest rates on contractual agreements like certificates of deposit and IRAs will remain the same in accordance with the terms of the original agreements. Horizon monitors interest rates regularly to ensure all accounts earn and/or receive a competitive interest rate. Those deposit products with variable rate pricing would be subject to change dependent upon the current competitive interest rate environment.
