Debit and ATM Cards

As of Friday, April 26th your existing Salin Bank Debit and ATM cards no longer work. We issued you a new Horizon Bank Debit and/or ATM card, that should have arrived around Monday, April 15, 2019 to replace your existing Salin Bank cards.  This card was to be activated by Friday, April 26th.

Debit and ATM Card PINs: Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will change. You will receive a new PIN in a separate letter mailed to you for your security. You may change your PIN if you wish after you’ve activated your card.

Debit and ATM Card Numbers: Your card numbers have changed.

Automatic Payments: If you have automatic payments attached to your Debit card, you will need to notify the vendor(s) of the change to your card number once you receive your new card. After Monday, April 29th, you can use Horizon's Online CardSwap service to update payments for many online services and more, at the same time, in the same place.

Account Access: Your new Horizon card will provide access to the same account(s) as your old Salin Bank card did and your daily withdrawal limits will remain the same.

The New Look of your Debit and ATM Cards: Your new Debit and/or ATM cards will display the Horizon Bank name and Mastercard® logo. You may use your Debit card at any any merchant that accepts Mastercard® Debit cards or any ATM.

Increased ATM locations: You'll have expanded access to all Horizon Bank ATMs for no additional fees. Horizon is a member of the MoneyPass ATM network giving you nationwide access to surcharge free ATMs.

Debit and ATM Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have to get a new Debit Card?

Yes. On Friday, Apil 26, 2019, your existing Salin Bank ATM Debit card will no longer work. We will issue you a new Horizon Bank Debit MasterCard® that you will need to activate to replace your existing Salin Bank debit card. You will begin to use this new Horizon Debit card on Friday, April 26th.

Your new Horizon Debit card will come with an embedded chip that provides enhanced security when used at chip-enabled readers.

Will my Debit Card have the same access?

Yes. Your new Horizon Bank Debit Card will provide access to the same account(s) as it does now and your daily withdrawal limits will remain the same.
