Horizon Bank Awards Donation to Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County
Horizon Bank announces donation to Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson Countyin Franklin, Indiana. The donation, in the amount of $2,500, was presented by Dan Hampton, Market President of Indianapolis and David Bedwell, Market President of Johnson County to the Director of the Interchurch Food Pantry, Carol Phipps on March 7, 2019.
“We are delighted to support the Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County in fulfilling their wonderful mission for households in need. The volunteers who give countless hours to serve are an inspiration to us all,” stated Hampton.
“Thanks again to the generosity of Horizon Bank. With their help, the Interchurch Food Pantry is able to serve hungry families in our community throughout the year. The economy continues to improve but there are still many families struggling every day. The impact this donation will make is invaluable,” stated Phipps.

The Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County is a partnership across churches in the community operated entirely by volunteers. Over 250 volunteers work at the Pantry distributing food, completing intakes, stocking, unloading trucks, working in the warehouse and cleaning.
