Horizon Bank Announces Kristen Lovell as New Vice President, Senior Ag Loan Officer

Michigan City, IN — Jay Maddox, Horizon Bank’s Market President - Fort Wayne, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Kristen Lovell as New Vice President, Senior Ag Loan Officer.  She will be leading the Horizon’s Agricultural lending team and working with farm and agribusiness customers across the market area to provide a value-added lending experience, as well as Agricultural loan structuring and analysis.

 

Lovell has previous financial experience as a Financial Services Officer and an Agricultural and Commercial Lending Officer.  She grew up on a hog and row-crop operation near LaFontaine, IN and now co-own and manage Grant Creek Farm which is the family’s direct-to-consumer farm operation.

 

Lovell earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Agribusiness with a minor in Psychology from Purdue University.  She is a graduate of Farm Credit Leadership College; Midwest Agricultural Banking School; Indiana Bankers Association Leadership Development Program and has a Lean Six Sigma- Green Belt Certification.  She is involved with the following organizations: Purdue Extension Wabash County, Board Member; PCARET member (Purdue Council for Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Committee); Grow Wabash County- Salute to Ag Committee Member; Wabash County 4H Leader and Foster the Need, Co-founder.
