Tom Barber, AVP, Branch Manager, was recognized for his commitment to helping others grow, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting the success of those around him.
Through Barber’s involvement in the Retail Work Stream, leadership within Advisor Resource Groups, and service on the board of a local nonprofit organization, he demonstrates a strong commitment to making a difference both inside and outside the bank.

Karin Contri, VP, Assistant AML/CFT Officer, received the award for her ability to manage countless responsibilities while supporting those around her, she approaches every challenge with determination and expertise.
Contri expressed, “I genuinely enjoy helping others, solving challenges, and finding ways to make our work more efficient. Thank you for this recognition and for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing team.”
Contri is an indispensable resource, balancing the responsibilities of managing a team while tackling complex projects and operational challenges. Her positive influence and dedication have made a lasting impact on both the Anti-Money Laundering team and the bank.
Angela Henslee, Branch Manager at Horizon’s Cadillac, Michigan location, was honored for her supportive leadership, providing encouragement and guidance while recognizing achievements and opportunities for continued growth.
Henslee consistently demonstrates what it means to be a caring and effective leader. She makes herself available to support her team and creates an environment where people feel comfortable reaching out when they need help.
Henslee expressed, “Supporting and encouraging others is one of the most rewarding parts of my role, and I am grateful to work alongside such wonderful colleagues every day. I am truly honored to receive this award.”
Becky Wilhelm, AVP, Branch Manager, is known as a trusted mentor and resource across multiple Horizon branches. She is always willing to help colleagues navigate challenges and find solutions.
Wilhelm is a respected leader whose impact extends far beyond her own branch. Throughout her more than 30 years in banking, she has built a reputation as a trusted mentor, problem-solver, and team player.
