Debit Cards

On November 10, 2017 your existing Wolverine Bank Debit card will no longer work. We will issue you a new Horizon Bank Debit card, arriving around November 3rd that will replace your existing Wolverine Bank card to be activated by November 10th.

Debit Card PIN: Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will change. You will receive a new PIN in a separate letter mailed to you for your security. You may change your PIN if you wish after you’ve activated your card.

Debit Card Number: Your card number will change. 

Account Access: Your new Horizon card will provide access to the same account(s) as your Wolverine Bank card did and your daily withdrawal limits will remain the same.

The New Look of your Debit Card: Your new Debit card will display the Horizon Bank name and Mastercard® logo. You may use your Debit card at any merchant that accepts Mastercard® Debit cards or any ATM.

Automatic Payments: If you have automatic payments attached to your Debit card you may need to notify the vendor(s) of the change to your card number once you receive your new card. Many national retailers will continue to recognize your new card without any interruption in your payments; however, please take time to review your automatic payments just to be sure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have to get a new Debit Card?

Yes. On November 10, 2017, your existing Wolverine Bank Debit card will no longer work. We will issue you a new Horizon Bank Debit MasterCard® that you will need to activate to replace your existing Wolverine Bank debit card. You will begin to use this new Horizon Debit card on Friday, November 10th.

Your new Horizon Debit card will come with an embedded chip that provides enhanced security when used at chip-enabled readers.

Will my Debit Card have the same access?

Yes. Your new Horizon Bank Debit Card will provide access to the same account(s) as it does no and your daily withdrawal limits will remain the same.
