Horizon Bank Names its Greater Lansing Advisory Board

Michigan City, IN — Horizon Bank has announced the members of its new Advisory Board for the Greater Lansing, Michigan region. The board will provide leadership and oversight for the East Lansing and Okemos bank branches.
 

Christopher Nugent, Market President -Lansing for Horizon Bank, said, "We're excited to have assembled a board made up of diverse leaders from the local community. They'll play an integral role in our ability to understand and meet the unique financial needs of customers in this particular market."
 

Horizon Bank established community Advisory Boards in 2004, for the purpose of gaining better insights into the local markets. Board members generally offer input on local economic conditions, find opportunities for community investment and outreach, help to identify credit risks, and monitor regional profitability.
 

About the Members

The Greater Lansing Advisory Board has four initial members, and Nugent said the board may grow over time based on market requirements. Current board members include:
 

Mark Grua

Grua was raised and lives in East Lansing, Michigan. A former MSU Football Player, Grua  has provided real estate, business, estate planning, mediation and related services to clients and professionals in the Lansing Area since 1976. 
 

Michelle Gallagher

Principal
Gallagher, Flintoff & Klein, CPA

 

Gallagher is a certified public accountant, accredited in business valuation. She is also certified in financial forensics, and has served as a trusted consultant, expert witness, mediator, and court-appointed expert.
 

Jeff Crippen

Crippen is the second-generation owner of his Lansing business. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, and shares Horizon Bank's strong commitment to customer service.

His property management business gives Eyde unique insights into the local market from both business and consumer perspectives.

Collectively, board members will support Horizon Bank in keeping its promises to provide consumers with sensible financial advice. As part of their initial, short-term goals, Nugent says they'll be working to help expand the bank's brand recognition and market share throughout the Lansing, Michigan region.
